STARLA EDWARDS (SHE/HER)
STARLA EDWARDS is a choreographer, performer, and movement facilitator based in New York City. Her work reflects a deep curiosity about personal history and expression, creating movement narratives that resonate with the collective experience. Her choreography has been presented in venues across NYC. She was a Spring 2025 Resident Artist with the Baryshnikov Arts Center, where she began developing her current project Thick Salt.
Edwards previously performed with Camille A. Brown & Dancers and holds a BFA in Dance and Arts Management from George Mason University. She is currently in her second season with McKoy Dance Project, serving as Artistic and Rehearsal Staff.
